I was looking for a car for my dad, since he is old so I wanted something good, at the same time not that pricey and something that my dad would feel comfortable in.

Allan the sales person was very helpful and answered all our queries very patiently. He showed us different cars based on our specifications and that would be good for my dad. We chalked down all our options and bought the 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Hatchback. My dad loved his new car and I didn’t have any problems with the paper work, everything was ready at each step and I didn’t have to wait for long hours to sign the deal and get the car.

If you are planning to buy a new car, come down to Duncan Bow-Mel Chrysler, and they will make your car purchase so easy and smooth.

I had already been to a few dealers before and I had bitter experiences with each of them, but in Duncan Bow-Mel Chrysler I had a different experience altogether. The service is good, the sales rep very helpful and the most important reason why I like them is that they were not very pushy and didn’t pressurize me to buy the car.

I wanted to test drive, 2012 Dodge Journey R/T because I wanted to be sure before buying this car and Jill made it so easy. I really liked the way she treated me and I even ended up buying this car. Let me again tell you, I just came for a test drive and was so impressed that I purchased the car. The paper work in the financial department was easy and I had no problems with the insurance agent.

When I’ll plan to buy a car for my wife I will surely come back to Jill again.

I bought a used vehicle from Bow-Mel Chrysler. When I bought the vehicle I was told to my face the vehicle had a warranty (actually have a voice recording of the conversation). When my vehicle had a major breakdown 2 weeks later I was then told “it was a wholesale deal and there is NO warranty” so I had to pay for repairs. Just recently they sent me a letter saying I need to bring my vehicle in for service to “maintain my warranty”… They will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale then are unwilling to help when your vehicle breaks down and will cost the dealership $$. DO NOT BUY FROM BOW-MEL!

BowMel Motors (the original name) has been in the Blumel family since 1972, when George Blumel and his partner Hugh Bowman began the business as a Volkswagen/International Harvester/Vanguard Camper dealership. In 1976 IHC had fallen by the wayside and American Motors/Jeep was added. In 1988 it was decided to deal with Chrysler only and BowMel Chrysler Ltd. was born. In 1995 the business was taken over by George's son, Todd, who is now the sole dealer principal. The BowMel name has been a respected and trusted business in the Cowichan Valley for more than 3 decades. We carry all models from Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep .
